SUMMER CARNIVAL AND KID RACES

Kid Races for ages 4-9

Would you like to support the GEF but aren’t quite ready to strap on a cycling helmet and race? Well maybe your kids might like to! Beginning at noon, there will be a series of short kid races that any child enter. The race categories will be divided by age beginning with 4 year olds up to 9 year olds. Any racing machine will do, whether a bike with training wheels, one without, a tricycle or a big wheel. Helmets are a MUST and all helmets will be checked at the starting line.

The length of the races will vary from 100 yards for the tykes and up to a full race course lap for the older kids. Each racer will receive a participation medal courtesy of American Family Insurance agent, Susan Chin (check out her website here ), and huge cheers at the finish line.

The cost to participate for the 4 and 5 year old racers is a $10 contribution to the GEF and for racers 6 through 9, a $20 contribution. The maximum contribution is $75 per family.

Same day registration will be available at the Glencoe Fire Safety (Bay 1) at the Village Hall until 11:15 am All pre-registrants must check in at registration to pick up their assigned race numbers.
